It soon became apparent to us that this technology had a far broader market potential than solely providing directory information to telephone users, Industrial and commercial opportunities are endless, combined with video conferencing 360' dynamic imaging enables us to present a broad array of clients projects, products and services to a worldwide audience at home on the internet and in public places. Due to advances in computer technology and telecommunications, the opportunity arose to install Interactive screens & telephones in Conference Centres, Rail and Bus Stations, Ferry Ports, Motorway Service areas and on Hotel reception desks, providing information to business people and tourists on local services and attractions. During the course of our subsequent expansion, the system and technology has changed dramatically. Initially, the screen display was of a text and prestel type format, now we are able to transmit high quality graphic images not just to all or individual terminals but to a world wide audience via the Internet. Advertising design has also advanced with images captured using scanners or digital cameras and downloaded directly to the host computer, where existing artwork can be altered in style or content according to client requirements, to produce a full colour screen presentation. Initially, the multimedia information revolution was discussed as a future event. It was the vision of the founders of In-Touch Interactive Multimedia Systems which has ensured that websitesrus have become the leaders in the provision of revenue generating, cost effective public information systems, combined with a standard telephone. With the advent and proliferation of the Internet, our client base is not only local but, National and International and with the office and home now on line allowing access to our clients, the future looks bright for our network and Internet services. Growing statistics from our pilot systems situated in the Travel Centres at major, Airports, Rail Stations, and other systems in the network such as Bournemouth and Waterloo Travel Centre's and Condor Ferries to name a few .
